Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Chef to lead culinary operations in a high-quality food service environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive culinary expertise, previous experience, and strong leadership abilities. This role involves overseeing food preparation, managing kitchen staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining excellent customer service. The Chef will play a pivotal role in menu planning, inventory control, and maintaining the overall quality of the dining experience.

Responsibilities



Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and service Oversee menu planning, development, and implementation to meet quality standards and customer preferences Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and waste reduction Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards Coordinate catering events and special functions with attention to detail and client specifications Supervise food handling, preparation, and presentation to uphold high culinary standards Oversee shift management, ensuring smooth operations during all service hours Train and mentor team members to enhance their culinary skills and professional growth Collaborate with management on kitchen operations, budgeting, and resource allocation

Experience



Proven experience in fine dining establishments or high-volume catering environments Supervising experience in a culinary setting with team management responsibilities Strong background in food production, menu planning, and kitchen management Extensive knowledge of food safety protocols and inventory management practices Experience in banquet service, dietary department operations, or hospitality industry preferred Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff Familiarity with food service management systems and catering logistics Culinary training or certification from a recognized institution is highly desirable
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From 13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
