Duties



Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and service. Oversee all aspects of food preparation, ensuring dishes meet quality standards and presentation expectations. Manage daily kitchen operations, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness. Develop innovative menus in collaboration with management, incorporating current culinary trends. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the kitchen. Train and mentor junior staff to enhance their skills in food preparation, cooking, and serving. Coordinate with front-of-house teams to deliver seamless service experiences for guests. Monitor portion control and minimise waste to optimise operational efficiency.

Experience



Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment. Extensive background in food production, cooking, and culinary arts. Demonstrable team management skills with the ability to lead diverse groups effectively. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations. Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, with a solid understanding of hospitality operations. Experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and menu development. Familiarity with serving procedures and customer service excellence is advantageous.
