We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the kitchen team to ensure efficient food production and service.
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Manage daily kitchen operations, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness.
Oversee food safety procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations and standards.
Assist in menu planning and development to keep offerings innovative and appealing.
Train and mentor junior staff to develop their skills in food preparation, cooking, and service.
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Monitor portion control and presentation to uphold quality standards.
Maintain a positive and professional working environment within the kitchen team.
Experience
Proven supervisory experience within a busy restaurant or hospitality setting.
Extensive background in food production, culinary arts, and kitchen management.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Demonstrated ability in food preparation, cooking techniques, and menu development.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with excellent organisational skills.
Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, along with serving experience that enhances customer understanding.
