We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation. Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service.
Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to menu specifications.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
Manage food inventory, ordering supplies as needed while minimising waste.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with health regulations.
Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings.
Ensure all dishes are presented beautifully and served promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
Skills
Proven experience in a culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management and supervision.
Excellent cooking skills with a deep understanding of food preparation techniques.
Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations to ensure compliance.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and management.
