Job Summary


We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join an established culinary team and deliver exceptional dining experiences . The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary expertise, and a passion for food preparation and presentation. This role involves overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and inspiring team members to achieve excellence in every dish served.

Duties



Prepare, cook, and present a wide variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and quality standards Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient workflow Manage food production processes, including portion control and presentation standards Oversee food safety practices and hygiene standards within the kitchen environment Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock rotation to minimise waste Develop new menu items in line with current culinary trends and customer preferences Maintain a clean and organised kitchen workspace at all times Lead by example in maintaining a positive team environment centred on hospitality excellence

Experience



Proven supervisory experience within a professional kitchen setting Extensive background in food production, cooking, and food preparation Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively Demonstrable experience in culinary arts, including menu development and presentation skills Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene standards Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is highly desirable Experience serving diverse customer needs while maintaining high-quality standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 15.00-15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
