Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu specifications and presentation standards
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient workflow
Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency in taste, quality, and presentation
Manage food safety protocols, including hygiene standards and allergen controls
Coordinate with suppliers for ingredient procurement and inventory management
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment in compliance with health regulations
Assist in menu planning and development to reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences
Serve as a role model for team management, fostering a positive work environment and excellent customer service standards
Experience
Proven supervisory experience within a professional kitchen or restaurant setting
Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices
Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques across various cuisines
Experience working in hospitality or restaurant environments with a focus on high-quality service delivery
