We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Duties
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to organisational standards
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
Develop new menu items in collaboration with management to meet customer preferences and seasonal trends
Maintain strict compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock rotation to minimise waste
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure excellent service delivery
Lead by example in maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment
Skills
Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen setting
Extensive knowledge of food production, preparation, and cooking techniques
Strong team management abilities with leadership qualities that motivate staff
Excellent skills in food safety practices and hygiene standards
Experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is highly desirable
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation
Good communication skills for effective team coordination and customer interaction
