Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our small team. The ideal candidate will possess passion, an understanding of food preparation, and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences alongside our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be creative with food, manage food production, and ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality are maintained. The successful applicant will work along side the team to creating innovative menus, and maintaining a welcoming environment for both staff and guests.

Responsibilities

Ensure efficient food preparation and service Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food production, presentation, and quality control Help Develop and Contribute innovative menus that align with current culinary trends and customer preferences. Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and hygiene standards Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and minimise waste to optimise kitchen efficiency Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times

Requirements

Background in food production, cooking, and food preparation techniques - However Training can be Given if willingness to learn is shown. Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene management Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is highly desirable Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure Passion for culinary innovation and delivering exceptional guest experiences Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and management Formal culinary qualifications or equivalent professional training is preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: 12.21-12.75 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
