Summary

We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our team in our award winning restaurant at Monkton Elm Garden Centre. In this role, you will assist in the kitchen operations, ensuring the preparation and presentation of food meets our high standards. Your contributions will be vital in delivering an outstanding dining experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

Assist in food preparation and cooking under the guidance of senior kitchen staff. Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are maintained in the kitchen. Help with the presentation of dishes to ensure they meet quality standards. Support the team in managing kitchen inventory and supplies. Participate in cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and work areas. Collaborate with other staff members to provide excellent customer service.

Requirements

At least 5 years experience of working in a kitchen is necessary to be successful Good solid culinary skills and a high level of food safety practices. Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Willingness to learn and take direction from senior staff. A passion for food and hospitality.
