Responsibilities

Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, adhering to recipes and dietary requirements. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations. Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in cooking techniques and food preparation methods. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Innovate new menu items that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality or restaurant industry. Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and supervising kitchen operations. Comprehensive knowledge of food production techniques, food safety regulations, and kitchen best practices. Demonstrated ability in food preparation, cooking, and presentation skills. Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment is highly desirable.
