Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards Supervise kitchen staff, including training, mentoring, and managing team members to ensure efficient operations Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency and presentation excellence Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with health regulations Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control waste to optimise kitchen efficiency Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery Develop new recipes and menu items to keep offerings innovative and appealing Monitor kitchen operations during service hours to uphold cleanliness, organisation, and safety protocols

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within a hospitality or restaurant environment Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management and leadership roles Extensive knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure Creative flair for developing new dishes and improving existing menus Good communication skills to coordinate with staff and front-of-house teams Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required Prior experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable Demonstrated ability in food production, serving, and maintaining high standards of culinary excellence
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.50-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42 per week
