As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety, and leading your team to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment. Oversee all aspects of food preparation and cooking, ensuring dishes are prepared to the highest standards. Maintain food safety and hygiene practices in accordance with health regulations. Develop new recipes and menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, enhancing their skills in cooking and food preparation. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and supervision. Comprehensive knowledge of food safety standards and practices. Excellent culinary skills with a passion for cooking and food presentation. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with team members and other departments. Previous experience in menu planning and recipe development is advantageous. A positive attitude towards teamwork and collaboration is essential. Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour
