We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient utilisation of resources
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a cohesive team environment
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in compliance with health regulations
Manage food production schedules to meet service demands while minimising waste
Assist in menu planning and development to introduce innovative culinary offerings
Monitor stock levels, place orders, and oversee inventory control to ensure availability of ingredients
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to coordinate service delivery and optimise customer satisfaction
Requirements
Proven experience in food production, cooking, and kitchen management within a hospitality or restaurant setting
Supervising experience with demonstrated leadership skills in a fast-paced environment
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene and sanitation
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Team management capabilities with a focus on training and motivating staff
Proficiency in food preparation techniques and culinary arts
Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is highly desirable
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and delivering high-quality results
Good communication skills and a professional attitude towards service excellence
