About the role:

Position:

Chef at Sodexo, RDGs' WOs' & SGTs' Mess, Battlesbury Barracks.

Step into a unique and rewarding catering role within a Ministry of Defence (MOD) environment. Working alongside military personnel, you'll prepare high-quality meals and support a variety of exciting functions. What you'll do:

Assist with the preparation, cooking, and service of meals in a busy kitchen environment Maintain exceptional standards of food safety and hygiene, ensuring full compliance with EHO guidelines Work closely with the front-of-house team to deliver outstanding customer service Prepare and serve meals to military personnel, consistently delivering high standards Oversee kitchen cleanliness and ensure sanitation best practices are always followed Support high-profile events and special functions, showcasing your culinary skills Take part in bulk cooking while maintaining consistency, quality, and presentation

What we're looking for:

Professional chef/cook experience within a catering or hospitality setting Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health regulations Ability to perform well in a high-pressure, team-focused environment A genuine passion for cooking and delivering excellent service

Desirable Skills:

Experience in military or government catering environments IOSH qualification or equivalent Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
