We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to lead culinary operations in our dynamic kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary expertise, and a passion for creating exceptional dining experiences. This role involves overseeing food preparation, managing kitchen staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality service in both fine dining and catering settings. The Chef will play a vital role in inventory management and maintaining a cohesive team committed to excellence.
Responsibilities
Manage food safety protocols, sanitation procedures and compliance with health regulations
Coordinate food preparation activities, ensuring timely delivery of dishes during service hours
Supervise inventory control, ordering supplies and managing food stock levels to minimize waste
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen environment in accordance with industry standards
Qualifications
Proven experience in fine dining establishments with strong culinary skills and leadership capabilities
Supervising experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting
Extensive knowledge of food production and food safety regulations
Demonstrated ability to manage inventory control and food handling procedures effectively
Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence
Culinary certification or relevant training is highly desirable
Experience in restaurant management or food service management is a plus
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
Job Types: Fixed term contract, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour
