Overview


At tepsi, we are seeking experienced and dynamic chefs to join our team in creating exceptional eating experiences for our customers. If you have a passion for food and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you. We have already launched our breakfast menu as well as day time menu and sourdough pizza menus and have a small team in place. @tepsilondon

We are now moving on to our main courses which is the biggest part of our concept. Our concept is very balanced and vibrant with full of flavours. We need a young and dynamic team to bring it to life with its greatest potential. Cooking skills required, grilling veg and meat, artisan pizza making and busy breakfast service, fresh salads, mezzes and sides preparation. Our menus are very vibrant, innovative and minimalist. Being fresh and serving a healthy/ balanced died is what our concept is about!

Responsibilities



Setting up the kitchen prior to opening Prepare and serve a healthy and modern menu in an open plan kitchen Preparing a particular kitchen station by bringing all food containers to that point in the line Cooking a specific portion of each plated meal Assisting with marinating, cutting and precooking foods Cleaning the kitchen before the restaurant closes Cleaning and sanitising their area Wrapping unused items and storing them in proper areas at the end of a shift Plating food creatively and maximising customer enjoyment Ability to work in a fast service environment with other team members while facing customers

Qualifications


- Min. 2 years previous experience in a similar role is essential
- Knowledge of food safety practices and food allergens with Level 3 Food Hygiene certificate
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Excellent customer service skills to engage with customers in a friendly manner

Weekly rota bases with day and late shift options Weekends are priority with flexibility
Experience:

Chef: 2 years (required) Hospitality: 3 years (preferred)
