Responsibilities
Promote team work to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
Oversee all aspects of food production, including cooking, plating, and presentation, maintaining consistency and quality.
Develop and implement creative menus that align with current culinary trends and customer preferences.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene across all kitchen areas.
Manage stock levels, order supplies, and control inventory to minimise waste and optimise resources.
Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff to promote professional development and teamwork.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Monitor kitchen operations during service hours to uphold efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Skills
Proven supervising experience within a busy culinary environment.
Extensive background in food production, cooking, and food preparation techniques.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
Excellent knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
Experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable.
Skilled in menu development, food presentation, and maintaining high-quality standards.
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
