Duties
Oversee food production, ensuring dishes are prepared efficiently and to the highest standard.
Manage food preparation processes, including planning menus, portion control, and presentation.
Coordinate daily kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness in accordance with health regulations.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and professional work environment.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and hygiene regulations across all kitchen activities.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Skills
Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen setting.
Extensive experience in food production, cooking, and food preparation techniques.
Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse group of staff members.
In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hospitality environments.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.
Previous restaurant experience demonstrating versatility across various cuisine types is desirable.
Leadership qualities that inspire confidence and foster a positive team atmosphere.
Good communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and front-of-house personnel.
