Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative team environment. Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain operational efficiency. Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards.

Experience

Proven experience in a Chef role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques. Previous supervisory or team management experience is essential. In-depth knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy kitchen environment. A passion for creating exceptional dining experiences through innovative menu design. Strong communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with both kitchen and front-of-house teams.
