Wulfrun Rose Care Home are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will possess strong culinary skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional dining experiences while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and presentation. Lead and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster teamwork and collaboration. Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while maintaining the restaurant's unique identity. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene in the kitchen. Supervise food preparation processes to guarantee quality and consistency in every dish served. Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Train new kitchen staff on culinary techniques, safety practices, and restaurant policies. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry. Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and training. Comprehensive knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. A passion for culinary arts, creativity in menu design, and an understanding of current food trends. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the restaurant's schedule.
