We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our new business venture. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee food preparation, manage kitchen operations, and ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality are maintained.
Duties
Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including cooking, plating, and presentation
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across the kitchen
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control waste to optimise operational efficiency
Train and mentor junior staff, fostering a positive team environment
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Monitor food quality at every stage of production to uphold brand standards
Assist in the organisation of special events or catering services as required
Skills
Experience in food production, cooking, and food preparation techniques
Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively
Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality settings
Experience working in restaurants or similar hospitality establishments
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency
Good organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour
