We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef /Assitsnt chef to work our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role involves overseeing food preparation, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring high standards of quality and hygiene are maintained at all times.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the kitchen team to ensure efficient food production and service.
Oversee all aspects of food preparation, presentation, and quality control.
Develop innovative menus that meet customer preferences and dietary requirements.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene across the kitchen.
Manage inventory, order supplies, and control costs to optimise kitchen operations.
Train and mentor junior staff to enhance their culinary skills and professional development.
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Monitor cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen environment at all times.
Uphold hospitality standards by providing excellent service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Skills
Extensive food production knowledge with a strong background in food preparation and cooking techniques.
Solid understanding of food safety standards and regulations.
Experience working in restaurants or hospitality settings with a focus on culinary excellence.
Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.
Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and front-of-house staff
