Overview


We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have extensive culinary experience and a strong background in food production and preparation. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating exceptional dishes while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. This role requires excellent leadership skills, as you will be supervising kitchen staff and managing daily operations to ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Duties



Oversee all aspects of food preparation and cooking, ensuring that dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative team environment. Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to customer preferences. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to ensure efficient kitchen operations. Train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, food safety practices, and restaurant procedures. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Monitor food presentation and portion control to maintain consistency in quality and appearance.

Requirements



Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry. Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management and leadership. Comprehensive knowledge of food production techniques, cooking methods, and food safety regulations. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A passion for cooking and creativity in menu development. Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, along with familiarity with various cuisines. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs. Pay: 12.50-17.00 per hour
