Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to food safety. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious meals that delight our guests while maintaining the highest standards of kitchen hygiene and organisation.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed Present dishes in an appealing manner, ensuring quality and taste are consistently met Assist in training new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety practices

Requirements

Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures Experience in meal preparation and food presentation Understanding of food safety standards and regulations Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new recipes Previous kitchen experience is preferred, along with the ability to work as part of a team
