We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individuals to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our dietary services, focusing on high-quality food preparation and exceptional service. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry, with experience in both culinary practices and customer service. Or be focused in learning quickly from one of our highly trained individuals. This position will involve working late nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines. Assist in menu planning to ensure variety and nutritional balance. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all food handling processes. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service. Provide excellent customer service while serving meals to guests. Handle food items with care, adhering to proper food handling techniques. Participate in catering events, ensuring all aspects of food service are executed flawlessly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.

Skills

Proven experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide. Strong menu planning skills with a focus on nutrition and variety. Fine dining experience preferred, showcasing knowledge of upscale food presentation. Proficient in food preparation techniques, including cooking and meal preparation. Solid understanding of food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent knife skills for efficient food preparation. Background in catering or restaurant environments is advantageous. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
