We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing food production, ensuring the highest standards of food safety, and managing kitchen operations efficiently.

We are a local pub serving traditional food all made fresh.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards. Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring that all food production meets quality and safety standards. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times. Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment. Assist with food preparation and presentation, ensuring dishes are served at the appropriate temperature and quality. Handle customer feedback professionally, making adjustments to improve service where necessary.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry. Strong knowledge of food production techniques, culinary trends, and food safety practices. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
