Job Description

We are a small, independent business with a real passion for good food and quality service, and we're looking for a Chef/Cook to join our growing kitchen team. This is a great opportunity to work closely alongside a Head Chef with over 30 years of experience, learning traditional skills, professional kitchen standards, and the day-to-day workings of a successful kitchen.

Whether you already have experience or you're just starting out and eager to learn, this role offers hands-on training, guidance, and the chance to develop your confidence and ability in a supportive, close-knit environment where your contribution genuinely matters.

Key Duties:

Assisting the Head Chef with food preparation for the week ahead Preparing and completing food orders for customers Ensuring high standards of food quality and hygiene at all times Maintaining a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen
What we're looking for:

A genuine passion for cooking Availability to work daytimes as well as evenings and weekends A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Experience:

Previous kitchen experience is preferred but not essential We are happy to train someone with no experience, as long as they are motivated and keen to learn
