Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. Duties

Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to the restaurant's menu and standards. Oversee food preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to perfection. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service and timely delivery of dishes. Assist in menu planning, including seasonal specials and new dish development. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in cooking techniques and food safety practices. Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and functioning efficiently.

Experience

Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant setting. Strong culinary skills with a focus on meal preparation and cooking techniques. Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling. Previous experience in serving or front-of-house roles is advantageous but not essential. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under pressure. A passion for food, creativity in dish presentation, and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
