Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate chef/cook to join our family team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.

Duties

Prepare, cook, and present a diverse range of meals in accordance with established recipes and standards Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed during food preparation and service Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection to maintain quality and variety Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient service during busy periods Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to minimise waste Serve dishes to residents when required, ensuring presentation meets company standards Support training of junior staff and contribute to a positive team environment

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking in a hospitality setting Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene Experience with meal preparation, plating, and presentation techniques Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team Previous experience is advantageous but not essential Culinary qualifications or relevant certifications are preferred but not mandatory

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
