Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in kitchen management and food preparation, with a flair for creativity and a commitment to food safety. As a Chef, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional dining experiences while leading and supervising the kitchen staff.

Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, adhering to recipes and portion control guidelines. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to ensure efficient workflow. Implement and maintain food safety protocols in accordance with health regulations. Collaborate with staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction. Develop new menu items that reflect current culinary trends while catering to guest preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times.

Skills

Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods. Proven experience in kitchen management and team leadership. Excellent understanding of food safety standards and regulations. Ability to supervise, motivate, and inspire a diverse team in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail. A passion for hospitality and creating memorable dining experiences. Creativity in menu development with an understanding of current culinary trends.
