Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques to enhance menu offerings. Provide excellent service by plating dishes attractively and ensuring timely delivery to the dining area.

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking, preferably in a restaurant setting. Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is essential. Previous kitchen experience is highly desirable, along with a passion for creating delicious meals. Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
