Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and production, with a keen understanding of food safety and hospitality standards. As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests while supervising kitchen operations.

Duties

Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards. Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety regulations. Assist in menu planning, including the development of new recipes and seasonal offerings. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment.

Skills

Proficient in food preparation techniques and culinary arts. Strong team management skills with the ability to lead and motivate kitchen staff. Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food production. Experience working in a restaurant environment, demonstrating adaptability under pressure. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in both cooking and presentation. A passion for hospitality and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
