Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our culinary team. As a Chef, you will play a vital role in creating delicious meals that delight our guests and contribute to the overall success of our kitchen.

Duties

Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with established recipes and standards. Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring that all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed. Assist in menu planning, including the development of new dishes and seasonal offerings. Manage inventory and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth meal preparation and service. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive learning environment. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A passion for culinary arts and creativity in meal preparation. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also taking initiative when required. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as necessary.

Pay: 12.50-14.50 per hour
