Duties

Prepare, cook, and present a diverse range of dishes according to menu specifications and standards Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and hygiene regulations Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items to enhance customer satisfaction Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to ensure ingredients are fresh and available Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service periods Serve dishes with attention to presentation and quality, ensuring guest expectations are met or exceeded

Experience

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly within a professional kitchen environment Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, demonstrating ability to work efficiently under pressure Familiarity with various cooking techniques and culinary styles Experience in serving or presenting food in a manner that enhances guest satisfaction
