We are looking for someone with a passion for food, who can create beautiful plates and someone who gets just as excited as we do about new yummy flavours and menu ideas. We are a small and very busy team of hospitality pros who understand how to make a great impact with good vibes, awesome food and coffee. We do this whilst also managing a very fast paced environment and maintaining quality products and great service too. Our team are all superstars!
We are looking for someone experienced in a similar hospitality environment and who is able to manage a very fast pace on our busy days.
It's not always crazy busy, but there's always lots to do. We need someone who can use their initiative and be thorough and accurate with our kitchen admin too, as that side of the business is just as important as making great food.
We are flexible with the number of hours we have available. For travelling and uni reasons, we have a number of our long standing team leaving us aug/sep time so there is some juggling available for hours for anyone new coming on board.
Things we can't be flexible on are... we will need one weekend day a week commitment and we'll need someone who can cover the whole day from 8am ish to 4.30pm ish.
Availability on public holidays is important as is having your own transport to get to us.

Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste through effective food preparation techniques.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
Skills
Proven experience as a Chef/cook or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant environment.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices.

Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong organisational skills with the capability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
