We are seeking passionate and experienced

to provide high-quality meal preparation and kitchen support at our care home. This role requires a caring nature, excellent culinary skills, strong communication, and a commitment to maintaining hygiene and nutrition standards for elderly and vulnerable residents.

Hourly Pay Rate:

$18-20 per hour

Requirements:

Preparing and serving meals for residents as directed by the home or special diets for the individual needs of those living in the home. Need to have knowledge in nutrition Have to maintain hygiene of kitchen Need to to understand and comply with legal requirements like Food Safety and Food Hygiene

Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and cook nutritious meals tailored to the dietary needs of residents. Work closely with care staff to ensure meals meet individual health requirements and preferences. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment, adhering to hygiene and safety standards. Monitor food supplies and place orders as needed to ensure consistent meal service. Support menu planning and contribute to seasonal or special event meals. Supervise and guide junior kitchen staff when applicable. Document food temperatures, allergies, and resident feedback as required.
