Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in meal preparation and food safety, with a flair for creating delicious dishes that delight our guests. As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in the kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards while maintaining a clean and organised workspace. We are also happy to provide full training should this not be the case!

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to established recipes and menus. Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items, showcasing seasonal ingredients. Ensure that all food preparation adheres to food safety standards and regulations. Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques to continually enhance skills.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment ( If not we are happy to provide the training). Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills ( If not we are happy to provide the training). Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. A passion for cooking and creativity in meal presentation is highly desirable.
