We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef Manager to lead our team. Responsibilities

Manage the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, maintaining consistency in quality and presentation Supervise kitchen staff, including training. Develop menus in collaboration with the owner, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control efficiently Ensure compliance with food safety standards and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen area Collaborate with front-of-house supervisor and her staff to ensure seamless service delivery Assist in the recruitment process for new team members and support the owners Cleaning the kitchen, cleaning of pots and pans used with in the kitchen is part of this role

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management Strong culinary skills with a comprehensive understanding of meal preparation techniques Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene standards Previous restaurant experience with a focus on serving high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently Leadership qualities to motivate and guide a diverse team of kitchen staff Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
