Job Summary

We are seeking one talented and passionate Chef/Cook to join our small friendly team to help our head chefs.

The ideal candidate will have experience in meal preparation and food safety, with the ability to work either alone or as part of the kitchen team to provide simple meals in a timely manner. You must also have be willing to bake cakes, scones etc as we like as much of our offerings to be homemade..

You must be qualified to level 2 Food & Hygiene. As a Chef/Cook, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and presentation of our menu items while ensuring a well-organised kitchen environment.

Duties

Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed in the kitchen. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef/Cook or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. A passion for cooking and creativity in meal preparation is essential. Culinary qualifications or certifications are desirable but not mandatory.

The hours we are looking to cover are Monday 10am to 3pm Wednesday 11am to 3pm Friday 11am to 3pm. There may be extra hours during the summer peak season which possibly may include a Thursday

This is a seasonal roll from June to October but dependant on continued custom could be longer.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 16 per week
