We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef/Cook to join our culinary team. As our Chef, you will be responsible for crafting delicious meals that meet our high standards of quality and presentation.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the menu and customer preferences Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards Collaborate with service staff to ensure smooth operations during service Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary Serve meals in an appealing manner, ensuring presentation aligns with restaurant standards

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a Pub or Restaurant setting Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal preparation Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure Culinary qualifications or relevant certifications are desirable but not mandatory Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment is advantageous A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new recipes
