We are a well-established Coffee Shop situated just outside of Bridge of Earn, Perth, offering a delicious wholesome menu based on locally sourced, fresh produce.
Currently open 5 days a week Thursday-Monday 9am-4pm.
We are seeking an enthusiastic , experienced Sous Chef to join our fast-paced kitchen team.
Duties:
- Supervise kitchen staff in the absence of the Head Chef
- Assist in food production and ensure dishes are prepared according to recipes
- Maintain food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Help with menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes
- Oversee kitchen operations during service times
- Lead and motivate the kitchen team to achieve culinary excellence
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a chef/cook or similar role in the hospitality industry
- Proficient in all aspects of food preparation and cooking techniques
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment
