We're on the lookout for a skilled Chef to join our friendly team, You'll be cooking up tasty breakfasts, hearty lunches, and classic evening meals, proper pub food done well! We're after someone who cares about good flavour, quality ingredients, and presentation, and who enjoys working in a busy kitchen where no two days are the same.
Duties
Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes according to recipes and standards
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and hygiene regulations
Assist in menu planning and develop new culinary ideas
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Serve dishes to guests when required, providing excellent customer service
Follow health and safety procedures diligently during all kitchen activities
Qualifications
Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety standards
Previous experience working in a restaurant or similar setting is desirable
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
This is a part time position and will involve evenings weekends and public holidays
