We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to food safety standards. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious meals that delight our guests while ensuring a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with recipes and menu specifications Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain the highest standards of quality Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment Collaborate with kitchen staff to plan menus, taking into consideration seasonal ingredients and customer preferences Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment Assist in serving meals during busy service periods, ensuring timely delivery to guests

Experience

Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment Strong culinary skills with an emphasis on meal preparation and cooking techniques Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations Previous kitchen experience is essential; restaurant experience is highly desirable Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
