The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety. Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes according to recipes and presentation standards Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and hygiene regulations Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection to optimise quality and cost-efficiency Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient service during busy periods Serve food to guests in a professional and courteous manner Adhere to all health and safety policies within the kitchen environment

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a chef within a restaurant or hospitality setting Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices Excellent culinary skills with the ability to prepare a variety of dishes Previous experience in meal preparation and kitchen operations preferred Good organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure Experience in serving guests is desirable but not essential A recognised culinary qualification is advantageous but not mandatory
