We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation and production, demonstrating exceptional culinary skills while leading a team in delivering high-quality dishes. Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth workflow. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock control. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items that reflect current trends and customer preferences. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen. Train new kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and kitchen protocols. Assist in creating a positive working environment that fosters teamwork and collaboration.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role, with strong food preparation skills. Demonstrated ability in team management and leadership within a kitchen setting. Excellent knowledge of food production techniques and hospitality standards. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure. Passion for culinary arts with a creative approach to menu development. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members. A relevant culinary qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
