We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of food preparation and cooking, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to food safety standards.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
Properly store and rotate food items.
Assist in menu planning and staff rota.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a kitchen environment.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Reasonable overtime where necessary to meet business demands.
