Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety. This role requires a creative individual who can lead a team, manage food production, and deliver exceptional dining experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Plan and prepare high-quality meals in accordance with established recipes and standards. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient food preparation and service. Maintain food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with health regulations. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery. Create new menu items that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, safety protocols, and best practices. Monitor kitchen performance and implement improvements as necessary to enhance efficiency.

Skills

Proven experience in food production within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary arts. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
