Due to the location of this position, you must have your own transport
We are looking for an experienced Chef/Cook to join our very busy Cafe,
Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking
Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen
Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery
Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and minimising waste
Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food preparation methods, and safety protocols
Create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and collaboration
Requirements
Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong culinary skills with an emphasis on food preparation and cooking techniques
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
Excellent leadership skills with a passion for delivering exceptional service
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Previous experience in menu planning and development is desirable
