Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards Assist in food production, ensuring consistency and quality across all menu items Supervise junior team members during shifts, providing guidance and support as needed Manage food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with health regulations Oversee food presentation and ensure timely service to customers Support with kitchen organisation, including stock control and cleanliness Lead by example in maintaining a positive, efficient, and collaborative work environment Contribute to menu planning and development initiatives when required Serve customers directly when necessary, ensuring excellent customer service

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen operations within a restaurant or hospitality setting Supervising experience or team management skills are desirable Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide team members Good communication skills and a professional attitude Flexibility to work shifts as required, including busy periods and weekends if necessary A passion for culinary arts and delivering exceptional customer experiences
