Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pizza Chef to join our team at Stubby's Pizza. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking our signature wood-fired pizzas while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. We operate from an open kitchen environment, so candidates must have high levels of personal and food hygiene.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook pizzas using a traditional wood-fired oven. Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed meticulously. Assist in food preparation and maintain kitchen cleanliness. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Contribute to menu development by suggesting new pizza recipes or specials. Have good understanding of food allergies and dietary requirements.

Requirements

Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of food safety practices Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Passion for cooking and creating delicious food.
